Here at RPM Performance, we successfully manufacture Anti Drone Resonator Deletes for the VW Golf GTI MK7 & MK7.5. They are not like regular resonators on the market.

Made from 304 stainless steel and CNC mandrel bent in a one-piece design for maximum flow. Engineered to last a lifetime without multiple weld joints like other resonators on the market. Professionally Tig welded and handmade by us in the UK!

Helmholtz

You may be wondering what the small tube on our Resonator Delete is? The small tube is a Helmholtz resonator. In an exhaust system, a Helmholtz resonator is a container of gas (usually air) with an open hole (neck or port) leading into the resonator. The volume of air/gas in and near the open port vibrates due to the 'springiness' of the air/gas inside.

A common example is an empty bottle: the air inside vibrates when you blow across the top of it!

What is Drone?

Drone is a point where the exhaust note resonates in the cabin, creating a noise that most drivers dislike. This is why we have created Anti Drone Resonator Deletes.
